Submitting Your Manuscript

An Acceptable Manuscript

An acceptable manuscript: first of all, some form of literature; second, as well edited as you can possibly make it; third, in the correct format.

A How-To

Submitting a manuscript is something that must be done in order for that manuscript to be published. Manuscripts may be submitted by mail or electronically (everyone loves saving postage). Electronic submissions may be emailed to crackjawpublishing@gmail.com.

Submissions should be sent in the following format:

  • MS Word document or RTF
  • 12-pt Times New Roman font
  • Indented paragraphs
  • No spaces between paragraphs
  • Header includes author’s name and title
  • Numbered pages

Send a brief biography and a summary of the work with your submission. I’m not likely to read something riddled with grammar and spelling errors, so please buy a grammar book before you ever write anything. I recommend “The Elements of Style” by William Strunk or, for something more fun (but still educational), Lynne Truss’ “Eats, Shoots and Leaves”.
If you would like your work returned, include return postage.
